Please note there are a number of changes which have been made to the refund and returns policies following the appointment of Administrators to TRU Australia.
Returns / exchanges
Returns will only be accepted by way of exchange with proof of purchase and within seven days of purchase.
The exchange must be processed in a single transaction and no store credit will be given.
If customers wish to return but not exchange stock, they can return the product and complete a Proof of Debt for the amount they are owed. A copy of the receipt signed by the sales assistant must be attached to the Proof of Debt.
No refunds will be given, including for goods purchased using AfterPay or ZipMoney.
Faulty goods and warranty claims
The only exception to the refunds policy is for faulty goods purchased on or after 21 May 2018. In these circumstances, customers can request the item be replaced (subject to stock availability), exchanged or refunded, but must provide proof of purchase.
For faulty goods purchased prior to 21 May 2018, customers should contact the manufacturer or complete a Proof of Debt form.
All warranties claims should be directed to the manufacturer.
